China, U.S. Trade Leaders Meet, Few Details Released

At the APEC Ministerial Meeting last week, Chinese Minister of Commerce Wang Wentao and U.S. Trade Representative Katherine Tai met, but few details were released by either side on the scope of the discussions. In the meantime, bilateral trade has been shrinking due to various factors, including declining demand, China's COVID measures, and trade restrictions.
