EU Countervailing Duties on Aluminum Wheels from Morocco Target BRI Subsidies

On Friday, the European Commission announced that it had imposed countervailing duties on imports of aluminum road wheels from Morocco, with one of the subsidies at issue having been provided through China’s Belt and Road Initiative (BRI).
