At a CSIS event yesterday entitled Rethinking Trade In a Geopolitical Context: Trends and Transatlantic Cooperation, European Commission Director General for Trade Sabine Weyand offered some general remarks on EU trade policy and trade relations with the U.S., and then discussed these issues further with U.S. trade policy expert Bill Reinsch. We focus here on her comments related to trade with China.
