In a ruling today, the Court of Justice of the European Union (CJEU) dismissed appeals of an EU General Court ruling that the European Commission's treatment of subsidies provided by third country governments – so-called "transnational" or "cross-border" subsidies – as countervailable was permitted under EU law.
