Republican Members of Congress Seek Biden Administration Pressure on UK To Prevent Chinese Purchase of Semiconductor Facility

As we discussed here, the UK government is conducting a national security review of the acquisition of the Newport Wafer Fab, a semiconductor factory in Wales, by the Chinese-owned technology company Nexperia. Several Republican members of Congress are now urging the Biden administration to press the UK government to stop the transaction.
