As a result of Western sanctions, Russia's automotive market has seen a significant shift, with Chinese manufacturers gaining ground in recent years. In response, the Russian government has implemented measures to regulate imports and support domestic manufacturers, seeking to push Chinese automakers to localize some of their production to Russia.
