Today the European Commission announced two actions related to anti-dumping duties on Chinese imports.

Last week, the EU adopted two separate anti-dumping measures extending existing duties on Chinese imports, one on certain seamless pipes and tubes of iron or steel and one on certain continuous filament glass fibre products.

Earlier this week, the European Commission imposed definitive anti-dumping duties on imports of stainless steel refillable kegs originating in China.

At a European Parliament Committee on International Trade meeting today, representatives of the European Commission and the European External Action Service set out the new EU approach to economic security, and then took comments and questions from Members of Parliament.
