French Trade Minister Testifies to European Parliament, Talks about China Trade Issues
French Trade Minister Franck Riester testified today before the European Parliament's International Trade Committee on the priorities of the French Presidency of the EU Council in the area of international trade policy, and in that context a number of issues related to China trade were raised.

The European Parliament's Foreign Affairs Committee has called for a bilateral
investment agreement between the EU and Taiwan, although the prospects for
concluding such an agreement any time soon may be limited.
