Yesterday, Democratic presidential candidate Kamala Harris chose as her running mate Minnesota Governor Tim Walz. Walz had previously spent 12 years in Congress. Earlier in his life, he taught in China, and later traveled frequently there, and as a result there has already been a good deal of discussion about his views of China. In this piece, CTM examines several of his more extensive remarks on China over the years.
