China's Two Sessions meetings, which refer to the annual meetings of the two major political bodies, National People’s Congress (NPC) and the Chinese People’s Political Consultative Conference, kicked off on Sunday. As part of the process, the government delivered work reports, which review progress in the domestic economy and challenges over the past five years, and outline priorities of government work in trade, foreign investment, and industrial policy in the year to come.
