Virginia's Republican Governor Glenn Youngkin, who has been talked about as a possible 2024 U.S. presidential candidate, visited Taiwan this week, and during the trip Virginia and Taiwan signed an MOU for economic cooperation. In addition, Youngkin signed an executive order establishing an office for economic development in Taipei.
